Artificial intelligence is rebuilding how the world farms, heals, warns, writes, and remembers. It is being built in a handful of places, for a handful of markets, in a handful of languages.
No one else's laboratory will prioritize a Kashmiri orchard, a Jhelum flood, a clinic in the periphery, or a language the field calls low-resource. The valley needs a lab of its own. Vaakh is that lab.

Vaakh is the sister of Yikvot, the Kashmiri literary movement. Yikvot rebuilt the language's public life: its writers, its readers, its library. Vaakh grew from that ground, and its mandate is the whole valley.
Literature gave the movement its voice. Research gives it reach.
